Greg is currently the Managing Director, Head of Ingenico China. He has held senior executive positions at leading global banks in China, including Saxo, UBS, ANZ, Morgan Stanley, and State Street Bank, with a solid track record of pioneering, building, and managing technology centres in China that deliver innovation solutions and support digital transformation program for incumbent banks and FinTech. During his times working in China, Greg has also been involved in establishing a Microcredit/P2P (formerly AIG) start-up and consultancy business respectively. Prior to China, he has worked in US, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Greg is also a Senior Advisor for Shanghai Fudan University, specializing in FinTech, and the Co-founder of Financial Technology Talent Standardization Committee. Previously, Greg was also the China columnist for Shanghai Daily, ComputerWorld and various newspapers and magazines in Hong Kong and China.

Mr George LOH is the Associate Vice President (Strategic Partnership) in the Office of the President, National University of Singapore. George will lead the development of governance structures to support strategic programmes and partnerships and identify new opportunities in strengthening NUS’ brand presence and expanding our global footprint. He is also overseeing the NUS Research Institutes in Suzhou, Chongqing, Fuzhou and Guangzhou in China as well as developing research initiatives with government agencies, industry and international partners under the Office of Deputy President (Research & Technology).

George held various key appointments in over 30 years of public service from 1989-2020 in the Government of Singapore, which included the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the National Research Foundation (NRF) in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Joanna Waley-Cohen is Provost of NYU Shanghai, the first Sino-US joint venture in higher education, which is currently preparing to graduate its third cohort of students. As chief academic officer, Provost Waley-Cohen is responsible for setting the university’s academic strategy and priorities, and overseeing academic appointments, research, and faculty affairs. Prior to being appointed Provost, she was NYU Shanghai’s founding Dean of Arts and Sciences. She is also Julius Silver Professor of History at New York University, where since 1992 she has taught the history of China, serving as Chair of the History Department from 2009-2012.

Provost Waley-Cohen was educated at Cambridge University (BA. MA in Chinese Studies) and Yale University (PhD in Chinese history). Prior to earning her PhD, she worked as a lawyer in London. She is the author of The Culture of War in China: Empire and the Military under the Qing (2006); The Sextants of Beijing: Global Currents in Chinese History (1999); and Exile in Mid-Qing China: Banishment to Xinjiang, 1758-1820 (1991) as well as many essays on the history of Chinese legal, political, military, and culinary cultures and on China’s interactions and exchanges with the West

Richard holds a Masters in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and serves as the Chairman of the Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai

With a dual-discipline background, Prof. Cecilia Chan possesses expertise in both engineering and education, particularly higher education. Her combined expertise in these fields has enabled her to lead and conduct research on topics such as assessment and feedback, experiential learning, and technology-enhanced learning, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence in education and the development and assessment of 21st-century skills (holistic competencies). Prof. Chan serves as the President of the Asian Society for Engineering Education and is an associate editor for both the Journal of Engineering Education and Studies in Educational Evaluation. Prof. Chan is working closely with UNESCO and universities around the world, providing consultations on AI literacy and policy. Her book “Generative AI in Higher Education: The ChatGPT Effect,” by Routledge delves into how AI partnered with human for curriculum design and assessment. Zunirah Mohd Talib, currently is an academic scholar and still teaching mainly in Operation Management, Quality Management Technique, Total Quality management and Industrial management. She has been working with MSU (Management & Science University) since 2015 and became the Head of Department Business management and law, then later in Jan 2020, she was the Dean of Faculty Business Management and Professional Studies for almost 2 and the half years. Currently, she is a Dean in Graduate School of Management under Post Graduate Centre. Her research and publications mainly focus more on production, industrial, total quality, operation management, supply chain, entrepreneurship, logistic and operation in SMEs, Halal food companies in Malaysia. Her experiences in industry such SONY Penang, SilTerra, GLC company and Infoseni, SMEs for about 15 years exposed her a lot in the hands-on activities in the production, training and management aspects. She obtained her first degree in Agricultural & Bio-System Technology, University of Arizona, Tucson, USA in 1991, her MBA from at Northern University of Malaysia in 2004 and PhD in Technology Management at University Science Malaysia in 2014

Victor Kwok oversees Education, Youth, Technology and Greater Bay Area research at Our Hong Kong Foundation. He is a member of the HKSAR Government Steering Committee on Promotion of Vocational and Professional Education and Training and Qualifications Framework, and an advisor to numerous academic institutions and programmes. He led numerous policy research reports and advocated a series of actionable recommendations to raise talent competitiveness, drive industry growth, and to respond to societal development needs. Victor engages in extensive policy advocacy work as a speaker and panellist in various local and international educational summits, television, and other media channels. He is also a content contributor to leading local press and academic journals. Prior to joining OHKF, Victor was Assistant Vice President at the Investment Banking Division of Barclays. Victor graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a BBA in Global Business Studies, and obtained a Master of Public Administration from the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Nigel Healey is Professor of International Higher Education and Vice President (Global and Community Engagement) at the University of Limerick. He is currently serving as Interim Provost and Deputy President. Prior to his appointment at the University of Limerick in April 2020, he held senior academic positions at Fiji National University, Nottingham Trent University, the University of Canterbury and Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as teaching positions at the University of Leicester and Leeds Beckett University.

Dr Healey has served as an economic policy advisor to the prime minister of Belarus and the deputy minister of economy of the Russian Federation and managed a number of multinational research and economic development projects in Europe and Asia. His current research interests are in the internationalization of higher education, transnational education and higher education policy and management.

Pei-Shan Tsai, PhD, RN, is a distinguished professor at Taipei Medical University College of Nursing. Her research focuses on the link between stress‐response systems and chronic illnesses and outcomes of nursing care of patients with stress‐related illnesses. Having published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles in medical, psychology, and nursing journals, Tsai is noted for bringing researchers from different fields together to collaborate on research projects that have important clinical and policymaking implications. In her capacity as Dean of TMU Office of Global Engagement, she leads a team of professionals and academics to assist international exchange of people and ideas, facilitate collaboration in education and research, and promote the institution’s achievements. Working closely with the University’s Senior Leadership Team, Tsai provides strategic advice and practical solutions to the institution’s vision for international development. She is an active participant in international networks and a member of the QS Academic Committee.
