She is a labor psychologist from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile and a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Family Counseling from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
She has developed her professional career mainly in the academic field. She was General Undersecretary of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and Undersecretary of Access to Higher Education at Senescyt. She has also served as Dean of Students and Quality Management; Director of Planning and Evaluation; and, Director of Academic Registration at Universidad de los Hemisferios.
