Firmin Landré is project manager at École des Ponts ParisTech working on the Refugee Students Program which welcomes refugees and asylum seekers to teach them French language and supports them in continuing their studies in the higher education in France. He is in charge of developments and partnerships of the program and the support of students.

He graduated with a bachelor in Applied Foreign Languages and a master’s degree in International Relations with a research focus on peace, human rights and migration studies. He focused his education on studying abroad which gave him the experience of living and working in cross-cultural environments.

Firmin started his career as a project manager in the NGO “UniR Universités & Réfugié.e.s” which supports refugees and asylum seekers in the resumption of their studies in the higher education in France where he started several partnerships with the UNHCR and universities among others.
