Most visitors to Kuwait will require a visa. Citizens of several countries can apply for an eVisa or obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. For more detailed information and to apply for a visa online, visit the official eVisa portal.

Once registered for the QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East 2025, you may request a Summit invitation letter to support your visa application. Below are four options for obtaining a visa based on different scenarios:

Delegates who choose to stay at our official hotel—Radisson Blu Hotel Kuwait—can request assistance with their business visa application. These hotels offer a streamlined visa process for registered guests.

Please note that visa applications will only be processed for delegates staying with our selected official hotels.

Holiday Inn – Salmiya also offers assistance with business visa applications at a lower price. Staying at this hotel provides a similar service to help with your visa processing.

Visitors who do not choose any of our recommended hotels can apply for a tourist visa, provided they meet the nationality requirements. For more information and to check eligibility for a tourist visa, visit the Kuwait eVisa website.

If none of the above options (A, B, or C) are applicable, delegates may apply for a business visa through the GUST HR department, which can assist in special cases where the other paths are not suitable.
