Visa Application

Most visitors to Kuwait will require a visa. Citizens of several countries can apply for an eVisa or obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. For more detailed information and to apply for a visa online, visit the official eVisa portal.

eVisa Process

Nationals of certain countries can apply for a visa online before arriving in Kuwait. The process is simple, and approval is typically received within a few days. You can check the eligibility and apply at the following website: Kuwait eVisa.

Normal Visa from Kuwaiti Missions Abroad

For those who are not eligible for the eVisa, visas must be applied for through a Kuwaiti Embassy or Consulate. Detailed information on visa application procedures, required documents, and processing times can be obtained from the nearest Kuwaiti diplomatic mission in your country. The list of Kuwaiti missions can be viewed at: Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is recommended to apply for your visa at least 28 days before your intended date of travel. For certain nationalities, visa applications may take longer, so it’s advisable to plan well in advance.

Once registered for the QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East 2025, you may request for a Summit invitation letter to support your visa application.
